You have to tip your hat to the boys from Munich when it comes to catchy marketing schemes that just make you want to dig deeper. So it’s so surprise that their latest ploy has even come with a warning to blog about a twisted model that’s twisted from the steel of the 6 Series.

More images have hit the webs now to shed some light on the matter. From the shots, it’s clear that this is more than just a 6 Series with skinny tyres and a missing exhaust tip. Even more interesting, from the A-pillar to the back, the car’s as 6 Series as it ca get but the front bears more than a striking resemblance to the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept.

There’s even a clip accompanying the shots that show the car running almost completely quiet, leading to speculation that it might be running the Vision Efficient Dynamics powertrain underneath the sheet metal. From the sloping hood, it surely doesn’t look like the high-revving V10 is still underneath, or even any of their straight-six offerings.

The Vision EfficientDynamics is powered by a 1.5-liter inline three diesel engine running alongside a pair of electric motors on the axles. It’s a scenario that definitely fits the front end of this mystery bimmer.

With Paris around the corner, it appears that BMW might be ready to roll up a big sleeve and drop a surprise on everybody but until that comes about, the shots and video will have to do.

Here is my first amateur headlight restoration job. Never really did any real restoration before as I always used Megs Platx previously which can't do much correction.

Subject is a P.Saga headlights which has some slight yellowing, hazy, minor scratches/RIDS, pits. This is the same P.Saga in which I've reviewed CarPro TarX before in AW forum.
