@ JoliPoli 81 , Ok I see the problem , I am Pretty Sure that wet sanding and Following the Above procedure will sort your Problem out , In your case you Would have to sand the Lights to remove the Overspray residue , Then only will the Surface be Smooth ,

@ Vyraz , Thanks for the Link , Looks like a worthwhile Option at that Price , Just wonder if it works , I think it will Brighten up a Headlight , But to fully restore it to its Former Glory , Sanding down would Be the Best Option , If someone does Buy this Product and It works , How about Posting up a Review here

That one is because chipped by the small sand particles. U need abrasive to shine it back.

yes using brake fluid will make it clearer, just wipe it with clean cloth.

if u guys care to search, there is a thread about cleaning the headlamp and the idea is by raja_mongkut (his nick in zth).

tried out his method years back and it works wonders, and am using dot4 to clean it.

You orang rajin laa....

Myself paid to renew my headlamps because I know my own workmanship not good. Nanti to save some money I end up causing bigger problems pulak...

Hehahehe

What the guy did was just use a rough polish and a machine polisher to wax the headlamps. About 15minutes per lamp and settled liao...

i just finished restoring my old projector sets in preparation to take out my current ones for retrofitting...

basically what i used is

  1. grit 2000 sandpaper and lots of water
  2. toothpaste/water and scouring pad to remove the yellow oxidation layer n smooth out the sandpaper scrathces
  3. bought some el-cheapo plastic polish and buffed with it till it shines. now my headlamp even has the rainbow colour when reflecting in the sun hahahah(the buffer is just my old bosch drill with a modified circular buffer attachment...modified as in is not centred nicely so if i spin too fast will vibrate like hell...lucky i have 2 legs to hold on to the headlamp hahahah)
pictures i have but cant really see anything. will post it up when i get the datacable back from my gf

Hello everyone! I just finished piecing together our video footage of our very own shop AMS shop Alpha 12 R35 GT-R. We completed dyno tuning last Thursday and immediately took it to the track early the following day. In the past few months, we've encountered limitations in the stock VR38 block in which it would fracture under high cylinder and boost pressure...
