thanks, its P27-T00...manual ecu

r those 1/8w 5% and 1/4w 5% resistor interchangable?
1/4= quarter watt or 0.25 watt
1/8= 0.125 watt...
So No.... But in this application in the ecu I say ok.

Hi, ive been researching info like this, i have right now a problem with a P06 ecu chipped, yesterday i tested it and.. with J1 cutted (as stock one) and works good, but appear after some seconds cel, ok i noticed iacv is buzzing, then i key off and key on (engine off) again and solid cel, disconnect battery, again, key on (engine off) and not cel, after some seconds cel appears again and iacv is buzzing again. i dont know what to check, tried to chip this ecu right and i was thinking that i dit everything clean and good but idk what's problem.

today after to clean some rest of flux, with J1 cutted not more cel, good but when i bypass it a solid cel and iavc is again crazy, hope you can help me out please!! i trill try to check everything again, i was sure that was a clean welds but looks like it didnt.

Thanks.

first time i get iacv problem with J10 cutted, after clean ecu some rest of flux, any cel with J10 cutted (ecu stock) but when i jump again J10 get cel and iacv begin to buzzing.

here some pics of solders.

ive seen worses solders than mine and works, that's why this is getting me crazy!

what i noticed is in the up side, pad holes arent filled completely, not sure if that will be affect since in the bottom side are good soldered..

I replaced C14 when i chipped ecu, addred Q26 (ECU has Q30 already), and added everything for convert P06 to vtec .

Hatch.... J10?
Pls post a top side picture.
And btw your are missing a resistor... So it goes into
Limp mode with J1... And most likely cannot

btw, upload a map (tried many maps , checksum removed, etc) and it's solid cel, engine start up fine, about 2.000rpm or so when it's cold , air fuel is not bad but solid cel is still there of course..

Hello Hatch, may i know where did you get those modification info from? It seems you have miss out few components that will cause CEL.
Also, when this ECU is still original (before you add in the components to support VTEC), does it give hissing sound at the IACV?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Here is a How-to.

1720 ECU Vtec Conversion kit instructions

besides i got a specific chipping kit for this board 1720.

everything is in the right position (+/-).

when i cut J1, ecu back to stock, no sound, not cel, it's as stock one.
