erm...
Could anyone tell me the difference between two of the porting? They say there are difference between the two different setup for the engine. Is that any shop in Klang Valley available for this port polish job??

for me in engine tuning port size depends on the engine requirement...

thus normally N/A engine port size was smaller than turbo engine of similar engine.....

this because the air-flow capacity in N/A engine generally lower than similiar turbo engine...so in order not to disturb low rpm drivability N/A engine ported carefully as opposed to turbo engine ppl would opt for biggest port they could make..... :adore:

porting an NA motor needs very delicate calculation...
forced induction motor can go slightly larger...

too big will reduce throttle response and increase turbo lag...

how do the professionals calculate how big port size should be for a given engine? anyone asked about clarification on this to the taukey before they did porting?

somehow i see 3 angle valve and back cut is less prioritized and discussed in head mod when they are supposedly the "gate keeper" to power haha

welll..IMHO

if wanna do 3angle valve job..then it is better to have radius cut valve seat job....smooth curve was better for air-flow compared to edgy side.....

well i've read some argument about those 2type in the net...but forgot the link.... :adore:

i think radius cut is done on exhaust side, 3 angle on the intake...read it somewhere but forgot where also haha
