What are the differences for example?

The GY I had was the F1 GS-D3 from Germany 1st batch. Rubber compound differs, the shoulder pattern was changed for the Thai model.
German ones had rough surface when used, Thai ones smoother finish.
The shoulder pattern of Thai ones after 50% joins up, German ones do not, pattern same until bald.
Grip factor to me German was better, Thai ones on friend's car lack slightly.

Asy2 were also from Germany, except one or two sizes from China factory. My size was from China but it was good. Performance and all.....:driver:

Hmm Ic, never used the German F1 before. The F1-D5 I used were China and Thai made, both felt similar.

I never use any Goodyear and Dunlop before since I got driving license ...always Toyo, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Michelin je... one time Silverstone that come with the car...

Never heard of Sime tyre......hhahhahahahha:biggrin:

Using v12 evo now...It's good but too noisy. Now considering re003 or Mc5. I know re003 definitely better but is it as noisy as the v12 evo which is directional? Mc5 is silent and comfort but sacrifice grip.

Use according to your priorities.....If grip no need see MC5 dy.....

I want the re003 but worry about the noise, any one here experience with it compared to v12evo?

Usually tyre noise comes from uneven wear and rough thread pattern, means if you want quiet tyres go for mid tyres like Yokohama dB V551.
For RE-003 I have heard of some say quiet, some say noisy....

The first V12 Evo or the newer V12 Evo 2?
MC5 seems not really worth it for its price. Depending on your size, rather than MC5, just top up a little bit and go for CSC3/5 which I'm using now. Note that I don't care much about noise so not really paying attention to it but to me seem fine enough! As for RE003 I haven't heard any complain about noisy but it seems the main weakness of this tire is it would not last as long as indicated by the rather low tread wear rating.

But CSC3 have many complaints of cracked sidewall and mainly bulging issues. These are mostly from PUG 308T, even my friend's Local Passat same, bugle and burst.....:banghead:

First v12 evo. Seems either mc5 or re003 is within my budget..unless v2 concept 2 or Kumho. Csc3/5 is double the price~ Need v12 and 003 comparison:hmmmm:

What size are you using? About 8-9 mths ago I bought CSC5 size 225/50/17 for only rm500 all inclusive which was only about rm40-50 more than MC5. But yeah, for many other sizes it might be much more expensive.

205/45/17 Cspc5 here is 600+ compared to mc5 300+. Re003 300+ sounds very worth it.

RE003 vs PS3 vs GY F1 D5. I'd say they are all pretty quiet in my book. Except when PS3 when it wears down..it does not wear down gracefully.

I used Silverstone M5 (alot ppl said lousy n noise) before this... with RE003 I would rate its quiter than M5

Performance wise RE-003 or new V12Evo2. V2C2 are all seasons tyre like mid. Kumho PS31 also about that but cheaper....

The cover is finally off the much speculated Audi Quattro concept car that will be unveiled officially at the Paris Motor Show which kicks off tomorrow. Built with inspiration from the original 1980 Audi Ur-Quattro, the concept rests on modified underpinnings from the current RS5 but with a nipped wheelbase, lower roofline and weight of under...
