wat car u driving bro?
normally its preferable if u send ur car for service every 5 thousand kms...or 3 months once....depends which one comes 1st...

the service includes idling tuning...change engine oil...oil filter....bla bla...
hope that helps...

proton service center will ask all proton car to service 5000KM once. but if you use better engine oil and stuff. 10000KM once is no problem...( for manual)

That is true.. if ur using better grade oils like Semi or fully syntetic oil..some oil can even be used until 20000km..

but.. it is advisable to change JUST the oil filter every 5000km.

Other things to note bout engine oil is.. Check ur engine oil level.. if its decreases.. u need to top up it.. if it decreases a lot.. then u need to check for leaks..
