go b8 turbo mate.... don't worry about the maintainance... it is not that bad... in fact the fuel consumption in a b8 is similar to that of a 2.0l v6 engine... my car can clock 425km full tank of 65 ringgit!!! when you need the power... it is always there!!!!! b8 powerful engine.........

b8 turbo is a reliable engine... before that i also hear ppl talking about problems from a turbo engine... hard to maintain and parts are expensive and so on... but so far my engine gave me no problem at all... just some tuning need to be done and minor maintainence!!Originally posted by jonhzc83+Apr 7 2005, 03:17 --><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jonhzc83 @ Apr 7 2005, 03:17 )</div><div class='quotemain'>Originally posted by NiJ@Apr 6 2005, 18:18

well id say if u haf the budget go the 210 way.....
if u wish to save a little just get a 180 wif a vf10
maintenace wise the B8 is quite fuel economical for a 1.8 T
but please bear in mind the faster u make it go the thirstier it will be <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle'
alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->
and spare parts arent really that expensive but 'at timez' can be hard to find.
id say the B8 is a great engine for the first time turbo enthusiast
as its relatively problem free.

couldn't agreed more with you john.. our car is like a human also.. you treat him nice, the car will be nice with you.. just make sure you change the gear/engine oil on time, use good items, dont force it to work you know.. you know you limit man.. you want more power then spend more $$ la.. very simple what <!--emo&:D--><img src='style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle'Originally posted by astinabpt+Apr 7 2005, 23:58 --><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(astinabpt @ Apr 7 2005, 23:58 )</div><div class='quotemain'>Originally posted by jonhzc83@Apr 7 2005, 03:17
