The news has been brewing in the grapevines for some time now and reports once again indicate that Audi will be unveiling an R4 e-Tron roadster at the upcoming paris Motor Show.
As is always the case, details are scarce but concept is said to be similar to the R4 E-Tron coupe that was shown at the 2010 North American International Auto Show with a difference of a convertible roof on the city of lights version.
The R4 e-Tron features a lithium-ion battery pack that powers two electric motors providing a combined power output of 201hp and a monstrous 2,650Nm of torque. That steel-twisting force allows the car to achieve the century mark in 5.9-seconds and carry on to an electronically limited top speed of 200km/h.
