WIRA 4g93p mod =

284 degree cam
adjustable cam pulley
port n polish
ecu rechiped
adjustable fuel regulator


SATRIA GTI 1.8 mivec mod =

GTI block using mivec head
using SAFC 1 to tune
using shift light to open mivec
mostly are stock
ecu no change using back GTI


got chance to win or not in 0-400 drag ??

Mostly the 0-400 drag the Wira will win, supposingly possible could be the SGTi but since SGTi never masuk full MIVEC hardness and ECU...only use shift light to control MIVEC...even with it light weight body seem cannot compete with the mod cam Wira ...

....wanna play pickup or top end need invest bit one...dun just put head but dun upgrade ECU...stock ECU won't able to "sense" there is new gadget inside the engine...that's why ppl need piggyback or re-chip ECU to make the stock ECU "awake"....

Just my 2 cents...i am be wrong :P
 
ahahaha... then it's gonna be a very hard recovery process..
 
i wud say the 1.8 mivec though....if really shift light can open mivec....
still...jus my opinion...never own one of those before....

shift light n rsm both can b used to trigger the mivec.....all the mivec needs is just some electronic signal to trigger the solenoid n push it to high cam at the desired rpm say 5k......but then again, such method wun b as good as using a full mivec wiring harness + ecu......n oso, after mivec opens, fuel n ignition maps are different story d, so how the ori GTI ecu gonna compensate for tat...?????

judging from the mods stated for the 1.8 mivec, its bleak hope for the mivec to win.......

Depends on the mechanics who setup those car, "feel good tuner" will always lose, eventhough his using VTEC also:regular_smile:

G-4 u have big chance to win(if u use 272 cam also can makan but now u use 284 cam/but most important is how the cam u set).Mivec 1.8 not full hardness /2nd stock ecu still can but for me main-main ok if drag totally out.
 
i was thinking has anyone try supercharging a mivec 4G93, using the bolt on kit.. i was wondering how much power would we get and what would be the suitable ECU, a standalone or the oem mivec ecu with a piggyback like e-manage??
