Not just you... I'd buy it too. PS4 is still premium for me. I don't have any good sources for Assy3 too.

I didn't know display cars need new tires. Not like you'll ever drive it.

*cabut*

Last time when I checked for my front 17' I got the FK453 for only rm350/pc while PS3 was still around rm525/pc. So I'm guessing it should be around 30+% than PS4, maybe just a bit more expensive than the V12E2.

That's insanely exp for the PS3... wow. I pay 460 for the PS4 and I'm already bitching. 350 a piece for the 453 I wouldn't mind at all.

My size of 215/45R17, those days Yoko S-Drive, Toyo T1-R, Dunlop SP9000, GY F1 GS-D3 all around RM380 to 400. later years of Asy and Asy2 around RM430 to 450 while PS3 was around RM550, so they are still the premium priced tyres......lol

The size I was looking for was 225/5017 at that time (almost 2.5yrs ago before PS4 came) so quite a bit more expensive than 225/45/17 or 215/45/17 coz much less common. I ended up buying the CSC5 for rm500/pc instead.

Your size nowadays many car using already. Kumho PS31 have, Achilles ATR Sports and Sports 2, GT Radial Champiro HPY and their new GTX Pro also have. GTX Pro pattern looks like old Hankook V12 Evo.....lol

Nowadays got more options but back then not as many, not yet V12E2 or Fleva and no F1A2/D5 for that size. And I'm not at all interested/convinced with Kumho or Achilles.

Kumho Escta KU31 had quite a following those days. Even their extreme XS KU36 and V720 are quite well known at the tracks.

Based on Autobild's tests, Fleva rank pretty poorly. Tyre review site got it.

Kumho, honestly depending on which one, can perform pretty OK for the price.

Yes, I'm not interested anymore on the Fleva especially since the V12E2 is more proven AND cheaper too!

As for Kumho, it's not just the performance but also the reliability, just not convincing for me coz often heard some bulging or deformation issues etc.

Yes it seems for consistency they are not doing that well.
I'm using Kumho KU39 for a 4x4 at home, don't travel at high speeds, and don't see that much use so i guess not that much issues.

FK510 vs Hankook V12 evo2.. I guess whichever cheaper, that's the winner.

NIce, KU39 are UHP tyres.
Yokohama after replacing S-Drive with Fleva is worse....lol
Even the C-Drive 2 now is gone, they don't seems to have a mid tyre category. High category V105 is expensive and performance not in league with PS4, CSC6 and Asy3.
In fact YHI seems to be distributing cheaper range tyres now like Neuton

Where do you guys go to change your tyres btw? I feel like the prices are all over the place. Havent been able to find a reliable shop that sells at reasonable prices

Yokohama already just released the new Advan db overseas though, so that should be their mid-range. Not sure when it will arrive here.
