I just remembered another brand that I remember using that was slightly better than Monroe. Sachs. This brand was quite good in terms of stiffness and car control. Maybe you'll have better luck finding this brand.Just asked for monroe reflex abs at a spare part shop. The owner told me even he couldnt find it. haha! That's quite cheap, brand new set?If you're under a tight budget can consider HWL adjustable with hi/lo/soft/hard... 15 steps version less than RM1.5k.
Yup brand new since now competition is quite high for shocks, you can get these kind of prices for entry level Hi/lo/Soft/Hard wth 12-16 steps adjustableI just remembered another brand that I remember using that was slightly better than Monroe. Ok sure....Which one will u recommend between the HWL h/l/s/h, and the sachs? cause u always recommend to get coilovers with h/l/s/h..so i just wanna make sure that..I just remembered another brand that I remember using that was slightly better than Monroe. Ok, will try to look for HWL and for proper installer...If the HWL is within your budget, make sure you buy it from a person who'll help you install properly. Preload the spring tension, adjust the bodyshift height (if the HWL has that) and replace the absorber mountings. The dampening rates can be adjusted yourself after everything is done.
A poorly setup coilover is kinda pointless too. If you don't have an installer who can do all that properly, you're better off with the sachs / monroe. Cuz preloading and bodyshift isn't something you can do on your own unless you have the time and the tools.
This can be done by Izso auto and gang if doing DIT......hhahahhahahhahaIf the HWL is within your budget, make sure you buy it from a person who'll help you install properly. The Monroe or Sachs are OEM replacement means you cannot adjust the height, damping etc.Ok, will try to look for HWL and for proper installer...
