The rare exotics............................ not just another raging bull but the rare 2 wheel drive raging bull..............truly a collectible piece

DSCF9115.JPG

as most of the 4 wheels drive raging bull make driver easy and safe to handle but unlike this 2 wheel with this kind of power...the driver needs to tame the bull and not tame by the bull

DSCF9186.JPG

My child never forget the things I have taught you, Store in your heart. Try this out, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying........IF
Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! wear them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart

SO Rare as the Gallardo LP 550-2 limited to a 250 units, has a raging bull up to 550-hp to the rear wheels. 0 to 62 mph comes in just 3.9 seconds

DSCF9147.JPG

after having served the company for 40 years. Mr Lamborghini to pay tribute to him in occasion of his retirement, has labeled an addition to the Gallardo line-up, the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni for Mr Valentino Balboni

DSCF9181.JPG

Mr Balboni, driven 8/10 Lamborghinis ever built, started from a small time mechanic apprentice (I always remember as, I have been told - never despise a humble beginning) was personally asked by the founder of the Italian automaker to test drive every proto or new Lamborghini models…….....

DSCF9169.JPG

Many would have agreed with me that mr Valentino, stamps the road worthy of the raging bull prior rolling out, he knows the character and temprement of these car more than anyone else...how then he first tested the countach....it is the best car in the world.......how can it be better than this ..........then came the Diablo....telling themselves how can any car better than this.......over past 4 decades ! We love when you wake the Bull? sleeping inside ourselves .......congrats to him

DSCF9137.JPG

After 40 years of faithful service, closing to his retirement....the owners hearts is to design his faithful stewards desire Lambroghini..... i wonder what make Mr Lamborghini want to do such a thing? the owner secretly quietly.......at his back , got the whole teams working out Balboni desire car......initially the designer would pops by his desk...asking for cosmetic changes...then...chief mech...meet him for espresso ... asking lots of question how Balboni feels on the tunning....later handling engineer called him for spaghetti lunch....continue to ask him....seeking his opinion and help...... the different between a raging bull and other exotics car......Balboni said "I would desire to control the car, after a long period of drving all the 4 wheel comfortable and safe Raging bull.....so this 2 wheels came about because of Balboni
...he misses the countach days......and the engineer has to redesign and shift all the weight from rear to frong to make it balance out the untamable bull.......the following week Engine management team engineer trying to call him on the line ...sound like seeking his expertise but only conversation was...asking what was the previous driven bull down fall...asking as though should he build one bull...what would it be like....how....?????? remember Mr Balboni he knows the character and temprement of these car more than anyone else...after driven all and over past 4 decades

At the back of Balboni mind, pieces of puzzle makes him think what are these guys ganging up to ??????? he knew some thing is up,,,as he grew up in all the Lamborghini car development projects

imagine one morning when he came in to his office, this senior man, hardly sleeps straight through 8 hours without sightless interruption or twisting and turning himeself on the bed , limping to get up, trying to straighten up his bone ...and crackling sound from his joints,,,,makes him desire a punch up cup of espresso....putting on his working attires unknowingly, what will his future lies after retirements.....prehaps feeling a mid life crisis all over again

pop open one of his many collection, start his engine...hearing the sound of the crank start and humming noise of the muffler all over again daily.....while waiting it to be warm up......prehaps stuck a while thru the jam, passing the same old stall for the past 4 decades, to work. park his car on the same bay he has park for 40 years...enter his room (not for any longer- before his retirements) throwing his key on the his table....and TA DA...SUPPRISE..lights of completely switched off...then came a group of singing happy birthday to you.....Happy birth day BALBONI.....flashing light as the curtain lifted up high to the ceiling....ta da....the Balboni here is your car, we make a limited edition just to "commemorate your contribution to our company"

by now tear begin to flow inmersely down...as they hugs to cherish this moments.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY BALBONI...Thank you for your contribution we loves you....

Is he not the same man, than woke up this morning having all sort of complaint....but what make who is he now...is what he has done and contribute to the exotics world of wheels......A legacy that will not be easily forgotten...

do not despise a humble beginning..........

Has also been known as the world’s most uncompromising sports car, with a unique character, which offers a very special kind of active driving fun. Special appeal to those sports car drivers who enjoy a particular rear powered driving style. Yet exceptionally safe sports car to drive

Valentino influenced pretty much of all the super sports car bearing the sign of the bull. Known to have a ‘life blood’ aka DNA of this automobile and special feel for the it!

DSCF9094.JPG

nothing less that prefect perfectionist piece

“A Lamborghini must always combine the precision of a race car with the reliability of a good friend,” Valentino

the synthesis of hi-revving pleasure, pulling power, a constantly exuberant temperament and a powerful symphony played in all keys ……………

DSCF9175.JPG

It was not simply a question of moving the transmission to the rear axle, the vehicle had to be adjusted and tuned in every element of its driving dynamics. Lamborghini has re-tuned the springs, dampers, stabilisers and aerodynamics, with the ESP system allowing “greater drift angles”. Which is very good if you ask us…

A special white and gold coloured strip fom front till rear is inspired from the 70’s classic sports cars, underscores the powerful elegance of the Gallardo and emphasises the unique Lamborghini design DNA.

DSCF9114.JPG

Each LP550-2 comes with a badge bearing Balboni’s signature and the car’s production number.

The paint was in pretty bad shape. Apparently the bull's hide is quite soft and very easily swirled and scratched up.

Indeed a rare beast... I have only heard and read about this 2 wheel drive Gallardo but haven't seen one. And what a privilege to have this on your hands to give it the correction it deserves! It is nice to see that perfection is restored on the beaten up paintwork and finally protected... Such a top class detail.
