Hi All Sifus,

Just wonder if anyone knows the grade for HKS Super BF5, HKS F-706 and M7 Super B5 brake fluid? Are they DOT4, DOT 5 or DOT 5.1? Have been Googled for the whole evening but cannot find the answer. Hope sifus here can help. Thanks in advance :itsme:

HKS BF5 is DOT4
HKS F706 is DOT5.1

M7 B5 appears to be a DOT5.1 based on its boiling point and the fact that they use this oil in a Honda Civic. Honda's use DOT4/5.1 compatible oils.

better one is RBF600, not satisfied then go for RBF660.

HKS and M7 also no problems...im using all these 3 brands, so far all ok.

Thanks for the info bro. Mine is 4G18. Just that usually when coming down from Genting the brake feels spongy and the brake oil levels go down. Now changed the brake hose to stainless steel and fill with Motul 5.1. However no chance to try Genting yet

if there is no fluid leak...the brake fluid level going down is because the pad is wearing. it will back to MAX when u replaced a set new pads
