Serious thanks man! Erm... But I always wonder why is there a breather hose? Isn't the PCV valve hose enough???

Please don't shut that hose engine need breath aswell. If you shut it you will find it breath some where else. Especially turbo engine.

The PCV is part of a closed system. If you close the breather hose the pressure will find ways of exiting your engine. A certain mech who used to be in Glenmarie thought he was smart and closed up my breather valve saying that it was the way American OCTs work. But what he failed to notice was that those OCTs have breather valves on the OCT itself. In the end my cylinder gasket failed and the leaks were terrible.

If you look at my 4G15 picture above, you'll notice my breather hose has a mini filter connected to it at the top.

What I also did was seal off the inlet into my intake pipe so now the breather is venting into the atmosphere. If you like I'll go back later today and take a clearer picture of it. In the case of my Myvi I didn't bother to do a breather and just let it vent back into the intake.

Thx in advance....:five:

Nce idea, :top: n what brilliant brain u have....:congrats:

From pic.. Myvi, it is better the connection at the filter change upside down.. Since the oil is heavier than air.. Juz my opinion lah..

oil is heavier.. so, u need to put the hose from engine at the bottom.. that's why it's called 'oil catch tank'.. to catch oil..

The GTI should be pretty much the same as the 4G15 I posted up.

Thank d7zul for answering

See that round flat thingy on top of the left bank? It functions just like an oil catch tank...difference being the oil is then fed back to the engine instead of being burnt off or thrown away like aftermarket oil catch tank.

Which picture? Would like to discuss this if you don't mind

if it's from the factory, of coz they can produce an oil catch tank & feed back the oil to the engine..

to feed back the oil u need a 'hole' in the engine & i think none of us can DIY that..

as promised..

pictures here!!!

i'm not trying to promote or anything.. but..

the hydrogen generator i bought is called E-gas..

it produce Hydrogen Sulfide, Methane, Oxygen & Carbon Monoxide.. checked with a gas detector..

the 1st 2 gasses is flammable, thus contribute to better combustion in the engine..

it doesn't drain the batery coz it only uses 1amp.. checked with amp meter

after i install it, feels like an increase by 5-10% power.. roughly.. not much.. but ok la..

the only downside of the thing is it needs to be cleaned every 3 months or so..

recommended to people who opens their hood every now & then..

not recommended to lazy people

hi bro zul,
i have doubt regard ur setting hydrogen generator.as u mentioned downside thing, what is the downside connection? is that filter part inside the generator tank need to clean? and also this liquid hydrogen will flow through to which part? or connect to fuel pump?quick interested with that setting. can u share with us?:proud::driver:

the hydrogen is actually a 'gas'.. not liquid..

the hydrogen generator is actually an electrolysis device that separates hydrogen & oxygen from H2O (water) just like what we learn in school..

the gasses produce is connected to intake hose as u can see in the previous pictures.. there's nothing under the orange thingy..

u can find it at mudah.my .. there's where i buy it too & it cost rm450..

actually, u can DIY the thing.. but i'm too lazy to do that :rofl::rofl:

below is the diagram of the hydrogen generator..
