When you have the budget, project might differ dy.......lol:rofl:

If I have the budget, I'll widen my search for old school cars such as this TE27 Corolla Levin here. Looks really nice. This car is almost 2 times older than me, yet I find it to be unique in design and styling.

Do you know how much work is needed to make a stock TE27 to look like that?

Oh! those one man show, slowly cut, weld, knock knock.....seen a few like this, even for upholstery....:driver:

A lot. Especially rust removal work and finding compatible spare parts. Estimated amount of 40k to 50k needed?

He did mention when he got the budget......hhahahhahahha:biggrin:

If got budget ma. The amount for this whole project + the car itself maybe can get one used Evo VIII already.

Yes he does the same restoration work, however, he is working on projects solo, so, to complete a project its gonna take awfully long time.

If it is for a few months, sounds fine. If it is over 1 year or 2, then that is probably very very long.

The S50 he was working on, i met him last year January, this year i went again around March, it's still there ! But it has taken shape and he already applied additional braces to reinforce the car. The S50 is going to have a RB26DETT from R33. He was working with another engine specialist to fabricate the mount.

Er, earlier you mention S30 which I thought is Fairlady Z. Now S50? Is it S50 Prince Skyline? Like this one here?

Shit typo ... Its S30, some may know it as the Devil Z Fairlady from Wangan Midnight.

S30. That car is worth a lot nowadays especially restored ones. It may not be very fast but it sure does have road presence. :adore:

Hahahaha i really want to see that S30 on the road once its done. If i got free time i will go back there and check it out. RB26DETT in that car is going to pull like mad.:burnout:

Oh! S30 fairlady, I drove the 240Z once, really difficult to drive as the accelerator was very stiff. Step lightly won't move, step a little harder it revs very high, so coming out of junction was really difficult....:burnout:

Sigh how old are you, why you got to drive this awesome babe :rofl::rofl:

Din't know such cars are brought into Malaysia back then. Grey import or Tan Chong?

Those days may not have grey import yet, but not too sure. There was the 240Z first model then later the 260Z and the 280Z, then model change to 280ZX, 300ZX, then later 350Z and 370Z

You'll be surprised if he reveals his age. More than twice of my age.

As per RENESIS post, I drove it when is was quite new....:driver:

LOL we better stop doing the age chat thingy, later on somebody will butt in and smack three of our asses ~ How envy of me, the only "sports" car i get to drive in the 80's was the RX-7 FC. Shit it was fxxking small and being 86kg man, its very hard for me to get in and out. When i first rode in a E6, it was like dream car, big enough to ferry 4 persons, quick enough to drive spiritually. Ah ~ How i wish i am financially stable enough to own an E8.
