Where to get transparent plastic rod?

i just got an idea.. in shopping center.. car acc. department... got one thing like a long spring - made of plastic... de name something like illumination ring....

i think if we can make a round frame and coil de plastic spring thing.. then shine with 2 LEDs on both ends.. i think can work..

If u did, then u would have known that I had found where to get transparent plastic rod. Also, I have also managed to mould it into a ring.

AlanTan, like I said above, I didn't dare use an oven because:
1) I don't know what temperature to use
2) My toaster oven too small

The rod cost me RM23 or RM27 I think...got it from an art shop called Wins situated by the side of Lim Kok Wing campus in Taman Megah.

The rod is about 6 feet long.

bro.. preheat ur oven to 150.C then bake it for 4 minutes will be just the fine combination..
