I found this product that just started to be actively available in Malaysia. It is a very popular product in US, EU even in Singapore.

Intro:
- A space technology from US that converted into car care product
- It is a high technology magnet with super strong magnetic power
- Magnetic power will only start reducing if the temperature exceeds 180 degree Celsius compare to normal magnets of 60-80 degree Celsius
- Very carefully shielded without affecting other electrical equipments
- Filters tiny particles that oil filters can't (don't be surprise!)

To Use:
- Clip on the oil filter to ENSURE tiny metal particles of up to 20microns are not recirculated into the engine
- Can be reused after oil filter change (one-time investment)
- As easy as that

Price:
- Got a range of sizes that cost from RM209 onwards..

More info:
- Surprising info can be found @ MXNENT.COM (MXN ENTERPRISE) - Malaysian Fully Imported Car Performance Kits Accessories Lubricants Fuel Treatment Oil Treatment New Technologies Car Care (Malaysian Distributor Official Site) or filtermag.com.
- Can find the demonstration @ youtube.com search "filtermag"

To use a NORMAL magnet, you will have the following disadvantages:
- will affect other electrical parts / equipments
- not strong enough to filter particles up to 20 microns size
- magnetic power reduces as the temperature goes up (normal filter can up to 80 degrees celcius)

FilterMag can overcome all the above problems by:
- properly shielded at the back side without affecting other equipments
- can hold the weight from 30kg to 360kg
- magnetic power only start reducing when temperature exceeds 180 degree celcius

This is a space technology and it is a very good product if you understand the features. ;p

Strongest magnet is NeoDymium. Can be salvage from your used harrdisk.
How many gauss actually filtermag have?

Yes.. the Filtermag is made from Strong NeoDymium Rare-Earth Magnet with multiple layer of pure steels covered by Zytel housing.

Filtermag is the only magnetic oil filtration device to use these high intensity rare earth magnets.

The metallic elements with an atomic number between 57 and 71 are classified as rare earth. Samarium cobalt could produce more than 4,100 surface gauss in a tube magnet circuit compared to 1,000 and 2,000 gauss for standard Alnico and Ceramic.

The newest generation of rare earth magnets consists of NeoDymium iron boron. (Neodymium is number 60 on the periodic table.)

The first NeoDymium iron boron magnet that came to market developed a surface gauss of approximately 4,800 in tube-type circuit. Strength levels have been increasing over the past ten years and are now producing surface gauss of more than10,000 in a tube-type circuit!!!

FilterMag's rare earth magnets are generally 5 to 10 times stronger than other magnetic filtration devices using Ceramic magnets.

Hi Bro's,

Need your assistance to provide me on some information about my car.

I own A Proton Perdana SEi 1998,

The issue here is,
I just got this car 5 months ago from my bro in law, and know less abt it.
I don't know what engine it is and it's a manual transmission Gbox.
The clutch Pad and the Gbox has an obvious marks of welding (Signs of convert)
It has the 2000 yr V6 Leather seats also has the feet rest as though it was a Auto transmission car before.

I went to many Workshop's but...
