Rollcage Approval

I think there are a number of issues here. I may be wrong, but I believe you can have an FIA certified roll cage if it was supplied and installed by an approved workshop -in Malaysia, the workshop would need to be authorized by MAM. The trouble is, MAM is now just one person at Sepang.

As someone else has commented, the other issue is safety. If you have an accident on the road, without wearing a crash helmet, your head is probably going to hit the roll cage. Not good.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I heard, the roll-cage installed in the Satria Neo Clubsport is not legal for road use, unless the car is driven to the track for events, and also must be backed by an official JPJ letter which includes the dates of the event. So if you're caught driving around with a roll-cage without the approval letter, even though it's a Neo Clubsport, you'll still get the samans and also have to go through the hassle of dealing with them pigs.
