vtec they tap the solenoid power wires to make the "vtec light". so, i think its the same as mivec, but u have to search the wire that activate ur mivec.

simplest way..
buy shift light that uses cigaret plug to 'on' it.. then set the light to blink at exactly your mivec engagement point.. then u have the light on when your mivec kicks in.... :D

locate on middle sockets

The X mark is the location of pin #109 colour unknown.

normally the output polarity is -ve.

so u try first.

ur mivec activated in the range of 5800rpm if not mistaken.
MD system is more on fuel saving system. Power wise is so-so.
anyway it's a fun engine to be driven.

Good luck.

the ecu is accually supply a -ve signal. If u really unsure then u better send to wireman whom knows what he's doing. if u supply wrongly u may burn ur ECU. So better take precaution before doing it.

Hello Bros,

I would like to know what you guys think of the situation and what I should do next.

I recently swapped my camshaft for a longer duration 250+ cam from the factory original. It gives good idling and fits my needs well because the car is a daily car.

My 'problem' is this. I dont really feel much difference. In some areas things have inproved. In some areas, I would be hard pressed to say there was any difference.
After swapping I can tell for sure
