I don't think the knee is to be placed at the area shown above, and I don't think the knee can reach that area for comfort driving..

well believe it or not.....its for your knee rest. Can only be found in EVO rally specs.Just got to know about it.

okay la...perhaps its not for your knee to rest....lower part next to your shin.
