The largest Ducati gathering in the country happened last Saturday, 16 April, as 110 Ducati bikes descended on Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur for the event that was organised by the Ducati Owners Club Malaysia and Next Bike, the sole distributor of Ducati in Malaysia, in conjunction with the Shell Advance 4T Roadshow Finale.

All the Dukes on hand that day were powered by Shell V-Power Racing fuel and lubricated with Shell Advance Ultra motorcycle engine oil. The convoy had first gathered at the Naza Auto Mall in Petaling Jaya before making their way to Berjaya Times Square. The gathering is now listed under the Malaysian Book of Records as the 'Largest Ducati Gathering in Malaysia.'

Apart from the gathering, the Shell roadshow also showcased a battle of the bands and had a number of Ducati's finest on display, namely the Diavel that was shown in public for the first time. The Multistrada and 848 Evo were also on hand. The gathering also aimed to bring together Ducati owners and forge stronger ties between them.

“Next Bike is proud to have another event that allows Malaysian Ducati owners to display the passion they have for the brand and their machines. The exclusivity associated with owning a Ducati is unmatched in the motorcycling world, and we believe that such an event will not only cement the positioning and appeal of Ducati to Malaysian customers, but also allow others to get a feel of what it would be like to be a part of such an exclusive group of owners,” said Datuk Wira Hj. SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Naza Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman.
