My Honda City 2006 making some engine knock noise like Proton Wira & Iswara when slow driving. Is there any one know what is the possible cause and where can get the specialist to solve this problem in Ipoh? Thanks.

did u recently changed from 97 to 95 after prolonged usage of ron97? not sure if your model has a knock sensor but if it does...maybe it is defective as the knock sensor's job is to adjust the engine's timing to eliminate knocks.

Actually this is a 2nd hand car. It already like that when I bought it. The owner told me it won't cause anything but after using for some time feel very irritating. I've try to use RON97 and all brand of petrol but the problem still the same.

if u'r using 97 n still have knocking...then its time to send it in for a tune up. a computerised scan will tell u if the knock sensor is dead or not...

If the knock sensor is dead will produce noise?

I've send to my friend's workshop before but he told me it isn't engine mounting noise, it may be came from engine. The engine/car didn't produce any abnormal vibration, it just feel normal.

hi sifus!

Just recently i have just screwed up my engine. I'm using B20 block, B16 Head, Block guard, Wiseco 86mm (high Compression),and a Ngk spark plug. The Block are over heated without notice, the piston was ok still however the block has scratchs on the both side (not the inlet and exchaust) of the stoking path. at the bottom of the block the piston stroking area are warped and runs 1mm of the daimeter.

So Sifus, are they anyway to prevent that from happening again? Your advice is...
