:embaressed_smile: problem solved. Found the idle adjust screw on intake manifold near throttle body.

metal head gasket or intercooler metal piping.

still going strong. if it dies, walbro will come to the rescue.
which reminds me, I should get a fuel pressure gauge first. hrm..
