ETCM issues service campaign for Nissan Grand Livina and Latio

A service campaign has been initiated by Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) for around 32,100 units of the Nissan Grand Livina and 9,300 units of the Nissan Latio and Latio Sport that were produced between the period of May 2007 and June 2010 in Malaysia.

The campaign stems from a number of cases received by ETCM recently in which the fuel gauge does not accurately reflect the amount of fuel on a lower reading on the gauge. Investigations into the case points to an electromechanical migration on the resistor card in the fuel gauge that is affected by a combination of environmental aspects as well as fuel variation.

Until the part has been replaced, owners of affected vehicles are advised to constantly keep their vehicle's fuel level above the half tank mark.

The affected Nissan car owners may contact our nearest Tan Chong Express Auto Service Centre or Customer Service Hotline at 1800-88-3838 for a service appointment or it can be done during the scheduled maintenance service.
