Hi, need some help here. I'm driving Mira L2S converted kancil. MY car used to have white smoke problems. First, went and replaced valve seals but its not original ones so still got smoke. But didn't know its not ori daihatsu oil seals. So i thot my piston rings KO adi, so i went for overhaul of the whole engine, and true enough, not only my piston rings KO, my pistons oso KO due to lack of fuel. Later only find out that my fuel pump KO oso. So after changing all the necessary part and overhaul, still got white smoke, then changed to ori daihatsu valve seals. Now no more white smoke. But 2 weeks after servicing my car, i check my engine oil level indicator, my engine oil is missing wor! It's almost completely finished. Now i'm confused, i don see white smoke during idling or at start of engine, or during driving, but during idling i can smell engine oil burning. I can recognise this smell cos when there was white smoke, i already remember the kind of smell by heart adi, so now, i won't mistaken the smell. My question is, where did my engine oil disappear to? No leaking when i observed my engine bay or my parking lot, no visibale engine oil leakage on the floor or around the turbo, or engine bay. So wat could be the problem? This is a mystery...and i'm confused and worried! Pls help me someone?

I'm using TL Lubricants engine oil, RM118 per bottle. But not no stock so using AMOIL engine oil around RM90+ per bottle.

Where got such thing? Nobody told me turbine uses engine oil wan. If turbine burns engine oil, means there's white smoke adi, and its very bad adi. Could be engine leak or something else. But now no white smoke, nothing. Just the smell but my engine oil just dissappears. Something fishy is going on here. No such thing as turbo run on engine oil la brudder...

U mean the tin can oil filter that we change during service? hmmmm...my turbine is blocking the view. Have to ask my mech to check it out. Wat did u mean by the the getah seal pecah? Which rubber seal? The oil filter? But my oil filter is brand new open from box wan wor? Thanks for ur advice bro...i'll look into this asap...ez. said:
me also facing the same problem on my 4G93T, the engine oil is missing a lot, and no leaking at engine compartment,no white smoke and i cant see any oil on the floor when i parking my car. the oil missing is come to worst espcially when i'm driving for long distance at constant speed, let say 120kmj.for exp from kl to penang,when reach there and tommorow morning when checking the oil level using oil deep stick...no engine oil at deep stick!!!!!!!! that mean it look like no engine oil in my sump tank.....and i buy 1 bottle of engine oil to top up...where the engine oil missing, any one can help me to solve this problem...
Dude, this is the reason for this forum. But it appears no one knows wat this problem is. There seems to be no answer from anybody. Either they don experience this to learn of it or they don know. wah...got black carbon la...i mean when the engine is on...i put my hand at the exhaust, got small pieces of black carbon fly out from the exhaust and stick on my hand. When i first start engine the floor will have a lot of black pieces of carbon...like dust like that wan...but its a bit oily, not dry wan...something like wet dust. i thot it was normal. so does it mean my turbo "kong" adi? pls help yap...u're my sifu now!!!S.W.Yap said:

Meaning, the smallest molecule will give highest quality to the engine oil. For the full synthetic oil, it has the smallest molecules if compare with others. That's why, this kind of engine oil good for new car since a new car, the rate of tear and wear still low compared to the older car. Time by time, the gap/tolerance between our piston, ring and block will go higher and the oil molecule can easily go out from the combustion chamber (through the gap) and burn. It will not give any indication to our exhaust. It will finely burn without smell & color.
I have read one article regarding in choosing the engine oil. The conclusion of the article, "Time by time, you must change in using the engine oil from full synthetic to semi -synthetic and to normal engine oil depending the mileage of your vehicle" All this can be tried through experience. Sometimes, cheaper engine will give more satisfaction.
Anyway, check your engine condition (pistons, rings, block, valve so on). If everything looks fine, try to change the engine oil. If the problem still there, simpan duit and beli kereta baru........
