Ask the tuner to focus on low-mid torque lor, Torque wins races, Horsepower sells car ma......

haha

Risky coz:
1. Too many moving parts
2. The second turbo located hidden between engine and firewall, no cooling
3. This is NOT a highrevving designed-v6
4. Engine heavy, car heavy, focus on Torque for better respond
5. Not a trackcar, not using momentum cornering, focus on highrev not practical

u still didnt answer us....
wat kind of mod u suggest.........
chg cams?piggypack ecu?
most of v6 user knows the limitation of their car...its not a circuit car..its more to a cruiser...
thats y i ask u wat u suggest specifically?
something like make the car lighter??

use ballbearing turbo, boost 1.2 bar, focus all power on low and mid torque, around 150whp is more than enough, u cant do much futher. It will never takes down any 250whp range l4 engine

Well... Sad to say, the TD025 of 6A12TT is really small. As comparison, it's almost the same size as GT20. However, And even the GT20 only comes in bush/journal bearing.

And well, not to say 6A12TT cannot go high horses, but the aftermarket performance product is really rare in MALAYSIA and even in OVERSEA market.

Back to increasing torque. Something that can be done if engine is out of car...

1) Racing bearings
2) Engine balancing

Will eventually makes the response smoother.

Lighten pulleys are good option if u can find.

if only GT20 can fit into 612ATT, it will be easier hehehe

Guys,
I really need help now.Just now I install n dyno tuned my e-manage on my 4g63T engine.Managed to get 247whp@332nm torque at 5300rpm.The problem is after 5500-6000max rpm the check engine light on and i cant rev to 7500max rpm.Why is this thing happen? When the rpm reach 5600rpm something,I felt like my ecu cut off early at 6000rpm.As before, the rev cut is at 7000-7500rpm.Hmm i need some advice now.

overboost? did u buy injector harness n additional boost sensor to over-write the fuel mapping?

Ermm dunno ler bro..boost set at 1.3bar.I got main basic harness n ignition harness
in the package.Did I need injector harness n additional boost sensor?:hmmmm:

coz ori ecu ll cut fuel once detect over-boost. for solve this problem, an additional injector harness need to install. u use blue e-manage? i tune myself the blue e-manage. the additional injector harness is come wif wire oni n plug into main harness.

Oooo you tune your e-manage by yourself ,good for you.As for me zero knowledge.Hehehe newbie ma.Yes im using e-manage blue.So i need,to buy the injector harness and plug in into the empty socket. How about the additional boost sensor?Did i need to buy it also.Is those goodies is apply to all over 1bar boost?

i m not sure the max boost of 63t ecu. but normal turbo car ll `check engine lite' on wen turbo over boost n sudden cut fuel. the additional injector wire is give injector signal wen ecu cut fuel off . so injector still working wen u over boost. the addtional boost sensor is depend on u. if u wan precise tunning, den u can buy n tune base on boost x RPM tunning.

For overboost fuel cut, it's controlled by a solenoid. It's a safety feature of the ECU to protect the engine from damages caused by boost spike.

not that I know of... Injector harness is normally used for additional injectors. Most of emanage installation does not require injector harness provided u have a extra injector added into the system. At least my set up on an e3 long time ago didn't have injector harness and I was boosting quite high then.

The fuelcut caused by overboost can be solved by simply unplug the boost solenoid. Sockets is a 2 female arranged in T shape near the battery. No more boost cut.
And a stock turbocharged is equipped with an additional fuel control mapping on the boost curve. It's like a additional mapping on top of the basic air fuel mapping.

And 4g63t doesn't come with a map sensor. It uses the maf to detect the flow. Then, the ecu will calculate the ammount of fuel required. So, there's no way the stock ecu will detect boost if the solenoid is removed.

The engine check light is common for Mitsubishi + emanage. It's due to the position of the togel inside the emanage to set it to the Mitsu's setting. Open the emanage cover and double check the togel. Refer to the mannual and set. Good
luck.

This morning set my boost to lowest one at 0.9bar.Still got problem when reached 5500-6000rpm.Felt like engine cut off.My tuner said maybe coz engine sensor got problem.Im using basic harness n ignition harness.Check O2 sensor, ok.So,which one that i need to check?headche laa...

thanks to share ! i oni do setting on my mod 93 mivec, so about mitsu turbo engine i hv too little knowledge.

Well, there's nothing to do with your O2 sensor. It only send signal to the ECU to let the ECU knows about the Exhaust O2 concentration. Lean/Sychiometric/Rich during the idle or cruise. It'll be open loop when WOT.

I suspect the position trigger in the E-manage. MAF sensor, see got lose or not.

No problem, we all learn.
