BUY F1 TICKETS AT PENANG ROADSHOW AND SAVE RM301
Specially for its F1 roadshow in Penang this weekend, race promoter Sepang International Circuit (SIC) will be offering discounted tickets as well as exclusive F1 radio headsets for fans to enjoy the 2007 Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix next month.
Purchasers for the first 500 Main Grandstand Lower Tower tickets, which are normally priced at RM1000, would enjoy a massive savings of RM301 as they would be on offer at RM699 only at SIC’s F1 roadshows at Gurney Plaza in Penang and at Highway Autocity in Prai during the circuit’s three-day promotional drive from Friday (March 9).
“On top of that, they would also be getting the exclusive F1 radio headsets worth RM100 which would also provide them with live commentary of the race at the circuit. This is indeed an amazing offer that racing fans would not want to miss,” says SIC General Manager Datuk Azmi Murad.
Divided into Tower 1, North and South zones, seats at the Main Grandstand Lower Tower faces directly the final hairpin and provides views of race actions at from Turn 4 to Turn 15 as well as activities at the back of the starting grid and the pit entry.
“It also a vantage point for those who loves photography as it provides the best location for a bird’s eye view of the F1 cars negotiating the tight Turn 15. If you are a photographer, you would want to be there,” said Azmi, who is also the Senior General Manager (Operations) of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad.
Apart from purchases of the F1 tickets, visitors to the roadshows at Gurney Plaza and Highway Autocity would also have the opportunity of winning lots of prizes including Main Grandstand tickets to catch the race in Sepang as well.
Sepang would host Round 2 of the 2007 Formula One World Championship from 6th to 8th April – three weeks after the season opener at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia from 15th to 18th March.
“There will plenty of fun and games for the entire family to enjoy at the roadshows. Fans could also see and take photographs with the 2004, 2005 and 2006 editions of the Petronas-backed Sauber racing machines at Gurney Plaza and try their skills in changing tyres of a real Ferrari F1 car,” Azmi added.
Apart from the display of F1 cars and various competitions based on the Formula One thrills and excitement, fans would also get to purchase products and merchandises from the other exhibitors like Sony and Shell at attractive prices.
Apart from the F1 excitement, the roadshow at Highway Autocity would also be supported by a bridal fest and fashion show, a bridal floral car show, flea market and display of latest car models by the tenants at Autocity.
