Yerp, either get toyota coolant from toyota service center (thats what most do) or coolant directly from the petrol station..... avoid spare part shop nyer fluids...... Dr Snape, you got your high idling issues solved?

Hi

EDDYSW20 : yup, i've tune it back to normal. Currently my baby in perfect condition.:rofl::rofl:

MRTWO : I think the rasional is normal water can cause corrosion. Battery water is distilled water, never cause corrosion.

Good to hear that Snape..... and the battery water is to avoid corrosion due to other bottled water have tons of impurities in it. Basically, do not put in 'mineral water' into your radiator...... it would assist or even promote corrosion.... mineral water you sindiri kasi hantam laaa, itu kereta kasi distilled water...... manyak syok.... hahaha

I am sure its really allot cause it travels all the way to the front. The exact quantity is written in the service manual. Anyhow, recommended to replace only one bottle of coolant and the rest bottles of battery water. I wrote something on coolant water ratio, have a look at it. Its good info.

At the end of all this, make sure you bleed the coolant system per the service manual. Its very important and it works real well. And of course, try to bypass the heater system, that takes allot of coolant and it serves no purpose, if anything its the reason why allot of coolant systems fail in malaysia. Coolant leaks inside the cabin or unexplained wet carpet are often attributed to that!!

so as long stick to that ratio it shouldn't be major problem....(my ride not toyota but suing toyota's coolant) great coolant and not so expensive :adore:

Now you mentioned, I remember reading it somewhere. But make sure it doesn't exceed 30% coolant. Meaning keep to one bottle for the SW20 as the pipes are long and you should be well below 20%. As for normal cars that take only a few liters of coolant, you may want to check the exact amount, cause one liter of coolant could end up being just about 30% of a 3 liter system, like used on most small engines. Again, please read on the coolant info, too much antifreeze damages the engine......

i already tested this water wetter...
add into radiator with water(those sold in supermarket labelled as drinking water)...
and my car manage to endure a 12hour journey (non stop) from kedah to kl...due to massive traffic jam during the CNY holiday on February 2011.

my aftermarket water temperature meter does not indicate any increment...max temp was like 90 degree only...thank god coz i already saw a lot of cars stop by the roadside due to temp problem...

This is a Nissan NV200 Panel Van. Originally, Nissan only offers them in White. Instead of leaving it stock, we resprayed it black. Why? because black is the hardest colour to deal with, it has extremely visible swirl, hologram or scratches when damaged. On top of that, a repainted paint job does not always show up shiny...
