best adjustable absorber

just bought tein super street but feel damn soft, alway hit my fender.
now i wanted to search other type that give stiffness(hard abit)
any one can recommend?

ps:can the tein ss spring change to harder one?

tien super street should be quite stiff already for the absorber...

You are probably have set the ride height too low. Yes they are soft spec (street use) but you can adjust them slightly stiffer. No point in changing the springs as the dampers has been build accordingly to the sprint rates.

It's easier to go from a hard suspension set-up with a softer spring than the other way around.

Two fingers on 18" is probably a good height in term of handling and looks. Any lower you'll be looking for lower arm adjusters, camber arms and steering tie-rods ends to correct for arms, camber and steering geometry.

What setting are you using for Font & Back? 2 fingers should be alright, if your shocks is bottoming out then something must be wrong with it. Is it rubbing the fender on straight bumpy stretch or when turning only?

with fender. back and fronth at 16 click(hardest setting)

You've got 16 adjustable levels use them... the car is pretty heavy so it will bob a bit (that’s how i damaged my bumper the first time and it was only a small dip in the road. Make sure yr shocks are not leaking too.

If its super comfortable then its too soft :-)

Same thing will happen...for men even worst....it so hard till the balls and tummy also bouncing around!! But on the highway, it is smooth like a baby butt...cornering, no complaints at all!!

TEIN super street F:5k R:4k for ER34 is soft for heavy chassis.I recommend you use more stiffer rate sus ranging F: 8K R: 7K for btr winding feel. If rate F:12k R:10k is more into aggresive driving and you will head banging like taking marijuana~heee
