you could try checking the fasteners that connect your fuel regulator and outlet. tighten them if needed (pls use the correct ammount of torque, never over torque ur fasteners).
also, you could try looking below the fuel rail where your intake manifold/plenum is for any stains that may resemble petrol/oil.
oh yeah, since you mentioned ur increase in fuel consumption, it could be (assuming stock) a few things:
1. fuel pressure not providing the correct fuel pressure
2. fuel pump not providing the correct pressure
3. one of the injectors are dirty/faulty/old
4. and like you said, leaking fuel rail/connectors.
Just wan to make a comparison, lets forget about the value for money or potential of the engine, i just wan to have a 300ps daily driven tiny wira. If turbocharge a mivec with after market internal part and a decent ball bearing turbo and standalone as well is it still lose to a stock internal evoIII with some minor mods and touched 300ps? This will help me to make final decision whether i should wait for a evo or go for mivec turbocharge.
Thanks!!
