hi guys, a bmw e30 is now quite a affordable car for almost everyone now. I just wanna ask, do you guys know any trusted bmw mechanic around kl / selangor area? im interested in a bmw e30, but i have no knowledge in german marques . so im thinking of sending it to a bmw specialist to get it checked for accident, engine condition , body work and etc etc.. maybe can estimate whats the cost of repairing the car also.

so any e30 owners, pls help me out! thanks yea!

ohyea, im getting a 318i model, anything for me to look out for when i buy this car?

The first main thing to do is check for condition engine and transmission 2nd check for the oil leak.

for E30, first thing to check is rust! go to the trunk and lift the carpet up and see if there are rust. i just got my 318i E30 1991 last 2 month, and i was lucky to get a real good one! everything is real good, no rust, engine, the interior is awesome too (MTech seats etc). no leaking, engine is clean as a weasel! lucky to get a healthy one hehe.

Sifus, need some help here. I'm from penang, driving a Mira-ed 659 EFI turbocharged Kancil with a normal stock boost of only 7 psi. I'd like to increase its performance buy upgrading my turbine (maybe a TD04), but from wat some frens tipped me off, i need to strengthen my internal engine parts.

This is where i'm weakest. I wanna understand a few questions below:

1) What effects might take place if i upgrade these internal parts (e.g. cam pulley, camshaft, compression ratio, crankshaft...
