He can try Continental Conti Seal tyres also. Not same as Runflat that have harder sidewall, as these are self sealing tyres....:driver:
But the tyre models might not be quiet type pattern....
Then to be safe, I should suggest Yokohama dB or Michelin P3ST. He asked about Michelin because his other cars at home is using Michelin. I told him Michelin tend to be pricier. He ask me why, I say probably due to brand name?

Michelin, Continental, Pirelli, Bridgestone and Goodyear are brand leaders in tyres, so prices are higher

But looking at Michelin, their tyres are the most expensive ones by quite an amount? For example XM2 and PS3 compared to their other equivalents.

For XM2, yes high price. For PS3 is not actually, if you compare to GY, you need to compare to F1-D5 which is almost same price. Of course if you compare to NCT, Duraplus etc, then it looks more expensive.....hhahhahaha

Then like Continental they don't have CSC models in 15", if 17" up their prices not cheap either

Compared with RE003, PS3 is more expensive. For Toyo, is it T1-S?

The bigger the size, the more the price difference between say PS3 & F1-D5. If just smaller 15-16' sizes then not so much difference but starting 17' can be rm100 or even more per tire. back in 2012 when I bought my F1-D5, it was definitely >rm100 cheaper per tire than the PS3 of the same sizes, maybe even close to rm200/tire, so multiplied by 4 then become significant difference (it's like I can buy 5 F1-D5 for the price of 4 PS3). But maybe now PS3 prices has dropped a bit.

CSC models can be even more expensive than PS3, at least similar price level.

Yes, but not much. Toyo T1-Sports don't have small size, maybe T1-R
After PS3 prices drop a bit and RE003 seems to increase the gap is less, at least up to sizes 17' which I was checking about 9-10 mths ago but still if multiplied by 4 tires then comes up to a few hundred RM.
T1 Sport is also not cheap, almost premium pricing too since made in Japan.

Yup, recently PS3 drop price. Like my 215/45R17 used to be RM530, 6 months ago 460, now I think 430 only....:driver:

Yup, plus I listen to loud heavy metal music so noise is not a big issue for me!
I think if you try on my friend's 320i, I think you will feel that the noise is quite bad since around speed 80kmh, the noise is quite apparent already. Considering the fact that the car is a new car, I think such noise is not so acceptable for him.

Why does it drop so rapidly? Due to PS4 coming out soon?

Ever experienced engine stall with air-conditioner on when you car slow down? What if its happen at the moment when you in a middle of U-turn? I bet your heart will pounding rapidly.

FICD is a little device that will help you with this problem. The concept is, this device will allow vaccum leak by allowing more air into intake manifold hence engine have enough air and wont stall. Its also stabilize idle and drive will feel a little bit lighter with a/c on. For the one who familiar with...
