i think most of us just try dumping in better (or thicker) oil or additives.... then just live with it.... my car sounds like its partially a diesel while idling
Elgin and Duratech are pretty popular aftermarket brands. No harm going that direction but they are considerably more expensive than stock right? Got budget go for Duratech. No money go with stock. Your car is stock right?
i see, just that i read that the stock tappets have a design flaw so am wondering if the aftermarket ones will silent the noise. yep my engine is pretty much stock as of now
talking about the ones with the bigger oil holes?
yes! how do they fare against the normal ones? did it make the sound go away, or at least prolong the silence?
