Hi there,

I am planning for the following Yokohama tyres for my 2 cars, one using 195.55.15 and another is 180.60.14

After some research online and offline, found that Advan Neova AD07 only have size for my 195.55.15 while AVS ES100 have sizes of both.

Also known that the UTQG for AD07 is 180 AA A and ES100 is 280 AA A. If I am going to take AD07 for the 15" and ES 100 for the 14", would this be my good choices?

Need your experiences on both tyres model in terms of dry, wet, treadwear, handling etc...

Thanks

any reason why you're limiting yourself to only 2 choices?

duno if my cents are worth to review or not, but here goes.

i've used es100 b4 (back then was 14 inch) superb all rounded performance and grip both on damp, wet and dry... used es100 on back roads of ulu yam on a sunday morning with some toyota forummers many years back (is a video recording by acoustic) in other words in car footage. a satria, ke70, and 2 seg's, slightly damp roads with leafs and some muds and puddles of water flowing out from da mountains, no problems with traction and not a single tail out on a ff satria.

now ad07 on 15's...i think i have posted on a topic in here :hmmmm:

yeah agree with fstrader. ES100 is damn good. it is well above most of our driving limit. only for those "crazy" people, AD07 will suffice. but ES100 is very good already. AD07 is just phenomenal, especially for those who think ES100 is not enough.

based on my personal experience, if u dont go for circuit trackdays, ES100 is more than enough. it is on circuit that u feel ES100 is somehow inadequate, especially when ur in corners trying to leave the hondas (damn u guys, honda handling too good la) that are lurking in ur rear view mirrors trying to overtake u...

p/s isnt ES100 discontinued already? do check the year of manufacture and dont buy if it is too old...

basically I have experience using Falken, Goodyear and Michelin tyres and I found Falken (or rather Japanese tyres) are not only reliable but durable also. secondary is because of sizes of tyres and their UTQG rating, I am looking for something above 240 A A (current Michelin Pilot Preceda 2) also.

there is AD07 for 185/60/14 rm175/pc
where is the location? how about 195.55.15?

I use both Es 100 & AD07. Es 100 got better wet grip, more lasting thread but i fell it noisier compare to AD07. I use Es 100 for 18Mth the thread left about 60% then rim get stolen. So change to AD07 14 Mth i have to change tire oledi.

Hybrid vehicles in general were designed from the offset to conserve more fuel by means of an electric engine or such. Therefore, tuning a hybrid for more power totally contradicts the original purpose. Nonetheless, when the hybrid in question is a Porsche, or a Cayenne Hybrid to be specific, you really can’t be blamed for wanting a little more...
