which piggyback is the most BEST for Turbo or S/C Vehincle ??

my friend used afc neo and it sucks, sold immediately... i vote for emanage cos using it now!! haha

Thinking of getting an AFC too. Apexi seems to be the affordable one and works easier from what I heard.

of course e-mane much more better than AFC!!! But double price leh!!!
Some more AFC have digital display...quite shock sometimes!!!

to me in term of looks afc neo,but for functionality e manage is better.i go for e manage.

- allows u to tune fuel mapping and ignition timing (give u have the required harnesses)
- needs laptop+software as tuning interface (u need the usb-usb cable as well)

safc
- only allows fuel mapping manipulations
- does not need any other interface/software... jz wire it up and tune ur car

substituting the entire ecu means u are using standalone ecu.... standalone ecu cost much more than any high end piggyback ecu... usually not cheaper than rm5k....

advantages of using standalone ecu, u able to reprogram the whole system and fine tuning each n every part of ur engine...

for example, converting ur efi engine with single throttle body to individual throttle body mostly requires a standalone ecu as it allows more precise tuning of fuel mapping....

just one question, when do we really need a piggy back?if car is stock, what difference will it make?

I am just wondering as I have just recently installed P.cams, the idling is quite bad, so would AFC or Emanage work better for me?Was thinking of extracting the power out of it...

I agree with Skywalker said those things actually built for different purpose.......but if saying about pricing it almost the same.....but for my personal opinion e-manage more better.....what for if you are paying same price but there is resitricted somewhere....maybe right e-manage must have laptop n those software.....think before you buy, think about something value for your money.......:wavey:

u can yield a few horses from using a piggyback ecu even ur car is bone stock... coz original setting from factory sets ur AFR to be abit rich to pass emission and reliability test... retuning ur AFR gives u better power n fc.... not huge improvement though coz ur car still bone stock....

I had friend that just bought a Apexi NEO and it looks really great but its just too much hassle...poking at the thing over and over...it could be more stressful!

i thought safc is not applicable for campro svdo engine as ur "self-learning" ecu rewrites everything u program into ur safc... perhaps unichip can help...

if u are looking for standalone ecu, get megasquirt... so far havent seen anyone installing it in campro engines... its an open source standalone ecu...

use haltech interceptor it can tune fuel & inition for campro engine..
also you can by "O2 simulator" to satelkan your close loop issue (close loop campro below 80% open trottle)
