If your engine is stock standard, i.e. u don put in 2L, don put in high cams, then it's very durable. Until the time that all white smoke is coming out, difficult to start in the morning, then send it for an overhaul. If u still keep on tionging ppl at that state, sure gone lah. And make sure u check the dipstick level frequently if you have a heavy foot. It's not knowing wat rpm your engine can tahan, it's knowing what peak power at what rpm your engine is making that's important. This will prevent you from overrevving. In other words, send it for a dyno check. You'll be able to see the air fuel ratio too, with the lambda sensor.

By the way, your last enquiry about the b18c block, the engine now is sold liau, FYI.
