Frogs hiding under the stone thinking they can shut out the world and live happily ever after in their own little world. Childish, immature, unrealistic and very 3rd world mentality. sigh....

HELL!!!
i say best to keep this discussion in private confines
because as observed earlier one of the reasons they suggest for wanting to shut down FB is because people talk bad about the gov more specifically BN
so if suddenly a member of BN reads this u might see news about them wanting to ban ZTH :stupid:

Naah... dis just some ppl over-reacting...facebook banning? even the ruling parties in Malaysia are using them.... so why ban it? sure, it's a double-edged sword...but the benefits will outweight the risk if it used properly...

...if facebook banned, ppl will go to other social network, friendster, myspace etc.... or go back to blogs.....

Banning torrent? well good luck to them la... just by using simple software such as DemocraKey, PeerBlock etc you can evade any detections... if they want to trace it that is.....

just enjoy your torrents, social network or whatever..

p/s: for a person that uses linux, I'm suprised you didn't know this... not meaning to disrespect you

Thanks for the tip, but I still do hope this rule will not be implemented to make life easier.

Few weeks ago... Norman KRU said want to banned P2P bcoz it damages RIM, ok if he banned P2P then how i am going to download my copy of Linux??
New law to end illegal downloading of music and movies

n NOW !!! Sharidah Kassim want to banned facebook bcoz it gives a security thread...
Shahidan wants Facebook banned, cites national security - The Malaysian Insider

what u guys think???

*delete if not suitable...
Bro, Shahidan Kassim isn't the sharpest knife in the kitchen. He should cancel his own FB account before asking for it to be banned and at the same time he shouldn't blog either. But then again, he did say he wanted to climb Everest in 2008 so I wouldn't take him quite so seriously if I were you LOL

I don't know about FB, but when they tried to introduce a local version of American Idol the government banned it because the fact that people got the power to vote therefore has elements of democracy which they do not agree with.

Sorry bro, you've misunderstood but it's my fault. I meant to quote Rock Lee because he said FB is banned in China. The comment I made about the Govt banning the local version of American Idol is in China and was done by the Chinese Govt; not Malaysia.

My bad.

Here are some leaked photos of the BMW M5 Concept that will take center stage at the Shanghai Motor Show later this month. Of course by using the ‘concept’ theme in the naming, it’s merely BMW’s way of saying that this is exactly what the production car will look like but probably minus the black wheels. It also means that the official details such as power and performance figures will follow later...
