last time had a jammed caliper....u will realise it when you're on 3-5 degree hill slope, your car wont roll back.
Usually won't jam immediately. Mine can feel that the car will roll to a stop faster, then you know something is wrong already. Then after a drive just touch the wheel and if one is hotter then you know that one jamming up...last time had a jammed caliper....u will realise it when you're on 3-5 degree hill slope, your car wont roll back.
piston la....pistonHmm.. I've never worked a twin piston before. But concept is the same. Come come let unker Izso molest your calipers.
Oh wait.. That sounds so wrong.
Twin same only, just got two of them.....Hmm.. I've never worked a twin piston before. But concept is the same. Come come let unker Izso molest your calipers.

As usual, going XXX already.....Oh Izso, my calipers are horny now... just waiting for your right time.:call:
Because Myvi is for normal use and to be driven at sane speed.....kakakakakamy experience with 06 stock and new myvi(back then) has this problem, never bother much. its so damn obvious when change pads, one side wear 75%, the other 50%. it does swerve under very hard braking, but not much when doing sane speed and normal braking.
Please define "sane speed"? :hmmmm:Because Myvi is for normal use and to be driven at sane speed.....kakakakaka
Should check the brakes, could be binding on one side....:hmmmm:
Follow speed limit loh....Please define "sane speed"? :hmmmm:
Follow speed limit loh....
heh! heh! yalor, actually the road speed limit is the insane speed.....the road speed limit, or the car?
just joking la bro vr2turbo... you layan me summore will get this thread screwed out of topic hahahhaa
Still not solved yet my brakes problem...heh! heh! yalor, actually the road speed limit is the insane speed.....
especially 60kmh on trunk road....
Wonder where is Lesley? Got his brakes checked?
Bro. Les,Still not solved yet my brakes problem...
First I changed new rotor disc on both sides as the old discs are found to be worn unevenly...
The disc got ups and downs of slopes in the centre...
As the pads are still surprisingly thick, I didnt change it, moreover it was Bosch brand so I left it as
it was.
Was very confident it was the disc problem, however after testing it, my brakes still imbalance, became worse.
Second day went back to the workshop again...
This time I changed new brake pads...
Upon changing my mechanic pointed out that my brake pads are crooked, and bent!
Can anyone tell me why the pads are bent on one side of the brake?
Same time I do bleeding and flushed the Dot 4 brake fluid.
Hope my problem will be solved!
Finally my problem is solved!Bro. Les,
The pads follow the shape of the disc. If disc is crooked so will the pads. When reading your post I was about to ask whether you sand your pads flat before fitting to your new disc, but since now you have changed all the better.
For what car? Finally my problem is solved!
Things that I done are...
1) Changed new rotor disc
2) Changed new brake pads
3) Brake fliud bleeding and replaced new brake fluid
4) Serviced the piston calipers, using high performace white grease.
5) Computer resetting of all 4 brake system.
Hope anyone with brake imbalance problem in future can refer to the above!
Thanks to all whom participated!:wavey:
If the piston, then must be rubber grease. If it is the pins then high temperature grease is better...Finally my problem is solved!
