guess u already saw the sss for sale in swiftclubmalaysia forum, the freen's car is tip top with a nice set of tanabe coilovers. know him personally, a nice friendly guy.

Yeap.. saw the car.. manual.. abit 'kick' jerked a few times when i tested it but lucky didn't stall

36l@450km is reasonable.. and i heard RON 95 no problem which makes it even more economical to run if sacrifice the performance a little :slug:

own a PI(JDM) grey SSS(ZC31) manual for more than 3 years...
No problem so far at all...
did no mod at the moment even though deres lots of poisons available...
Seriously if ure looking for power this car is not for you cos the power is not much to brag...
But the handling is good which makes the car fun to drive...
For your information,the SSS recommended ron is at least 98ron to accommodate to the 11.1:1 compression ratio.
Due to the high CR and close gear ratio, FC depends on ure driving pattern cos at 100km/h ure rpm will hover between 3300-3500rpm...

Sorry.. what's a PI(JDM) SSS and what's the difference between yours and others? Issit the one with the electronic air con? I heard there's only one in Malaysia and its yellow..

Yeah, I've tested out the power.. consider ok ok only (Think its as good or slightly better or worse than my 1.8 sentra which is slightly modded).. response wise should be good since its high RPM engine.

I need more feedback on the RON 95 usage of this car as if one day when RON 97 is really not affordable then can decide to feed the car or feed myself.. haha..

Based on rough calculation.. this car should be able to do average 12km/l which is better than my current which only averages 10km/l

Here in S'pore we can buy cars From Authorised dealer(AD) or Parallel Import(PI).
The difference is tat PI cars will be sold strictly with the JDM specs...
For example
Two airbags instead of six
Digital aircon climate control instead of conventional knobs
Touchscreen stereo instead of build in stereo
Theres no stereo control on the steering wheel
Speedcut- topspeed is capped at 180km/h(all japanese cars are capped at 180km/h in japan)
etc,,,
S'pore i use ron 98(V power)
i guess in malaysia is ron 97(V power)
Used it b4 and it cause lots of knocking...

In japan they even have ron 101 at their pump...

Oh.. Singapore.. Ok. Get what you mean.. Ron 97 cause knocking? I heard some here using ron95 even.. I'm also planning to try Ron 95 occasionally once getting it. Ron101 in japan eh.. Yeah I heard they have at Least ron99

yea.. Manual is the way to go..
BTW, got one question which is bugging my mind.. Since the manual gear is close ratio, say 120km h @ 4k rpm. how's the car taking it? I may require to travel outstation from time to time in this SSS
Nowadays most cars would be roughly 3.2k RPM @ 120km h but this fella is hitting 4k RPM.. say long distance to Penang.. can I manage a constant speed of 120-130km h the whole stretch? that would be like dragging the engine to 4k++ RPM for 3 hrs!
