Here’s another case of some obscure tuner deciding to crank out even more power from a supercar that is arguably one of the most balanced machines to join the supercar club. They’ve even given it a tacky name to make sure it doesn’t get mistaken for any other supercar given the go-fast treatment by some other releatively unheard of tuner.
Nonetheless, if that were the case, we all wouldn’t spending our last coin on some go-fast-bits for our cars. With the same school of thought, German tuner Sport Wheel has managed to massage out 600hp from the Audi R8 V10 Spyder.
The Galactic Audi R8 Spyder, as it shall be dubbed, will come in a two levels of tuning. Level 1 sees a 40hp increase in power with torque rising to 560Nm from the standard 525hp and 530Nm of torque from the 5.2-liter V10.
Those looking for a little more go can opt for the level 2 tuning stage that sees power rise all the way up to 600hp. Torque gets bumped up to 580Nm. A new exhaust system is also thrown into the mix for better breathing.
Exterior wise, a set of 20-inch wheels are on offer as well. For a better stance, a HLS coilover kit will ensure the arches sit flush with the new 20-inch rollers.
