S-flow muffler should be suitable for auto cars or N/A cars...
But i don't think turbo charged cars can use S-flow mufflers..
They normally use the straight flows...

the reason an auto is suitable for s-flow is becouse of low end torque..anyway the sound that an auto car makes is horrible when u put in a straight flow...power will be made in the upper range of the rev...as most uf us know, auto no pick up compared to manual..gear changes also sounds horrible..so better not have look the at me type of straight flow loud as hell muffler
but for all out drag performance..specially rear wheel drive..auto is used mainly in australian drag scene..they use straight flow for max power...

well... i dunno... but i'm s-flow muffler... on my car manual... so far ok.. no problem... i hav beed using it about a year... s-flow basically not very fast on low rev... but got the power when on high rev...on top speed & the sound will much more quieter then straight slow... & straight flow muffler.. will hav a good pick up but less power when reaching high rev.. on top speed... that's wut i feel on my car la... hehehee...

all these very subjective. the best is try out urself. teori said get the gas flow out as smooth as possible without retriction but i have been driving quite a few auto cars and change uncountable sets of exhuast muffler, still i preffer s-flow on auto. as i mentioned, try it ourself thn u will know. most of the time what u read is not wat u get and wat in teori may not be really works in practical
