read it somewhere before that RON95 not suitable for engine with 10:1 compression and above that doesn't have knocking sensor.

mivec compression already 11:1, putra and sgti (4G93 DOHC) is 12:1 compression. even though proton car have knocking sensor and the ecu will retard the timing but it means the engine would not run on it's optimum performance.

I use ron 95 on my atos prima n no problem at all...lower ron for old and non-performance car ony aaa?

since 4G93 DOHC compression is 12:1, i'm assuming 4G93P DOHC also have the same compression, no? :stupido2:
