Retention (changing of car registration number)

Hello,

Anyone here care to explain more about the retention of the car number registration number? What are the procedures and cost? Do we need to send the car to JPJ for inspection? Any runner available to kaw tim the retention without having the car send to JPJ for inspection?

My car will fail kaw kaw (in terms of the bodyparts and mods, engine already endorsed la) and if I send the car to JPJ/Puspakom for inspection, for sure it is a suicide....

you mean new reg number?
besides buying a new bike,you can also ask some MOTORCYCLES shops as they can do this for you..
should set u back bout 1k++..that was few years back though..
basically they register a new motorbike under your name,transfer the new number to your car and vv..the charges actually to cover some loss of the price for the bike as its already registered although still brand new..
and also need to get some letters from the bank if its still under finance..
not really sure bout the inspection part..
