both are safe to use..on one condition....

*tuned properly according to your engine..not someone else's engine....

and if u a type who install some parts earlier then later on got plans to install another parts, then e-manage was better option since it was a lot easier to change the engine tuning compared to re-programming the chip every time....

Sir chipping or using e-manage is the same thing both are used for tuning. Example you want to buy a car you offer cheque or cash. In both condition you will get the car.

the problem with chipping is whenever u want to change setting/re-tune u need to open the ecu again..remove the old chip (tuned previously) and hook it to pc for re-programming..and install back.....too much hassle and time consuming....

where e-manage only one time affair for installation...tuning can be done as easy as we change radio station preset... thats the advantage of piggyback/standalone ecu over re-chipped ecu

plus you can easily just detach the emanage and sell if off unlike rechip/standalone which is more of a long term commitment

The long lost Japan Touring Car Championship is set to be resurrected from the dead in 2012 and give JDM fans something to go berserk over again.
