Old School Cars Discussion

classic car should remain stock? Nah.

If I had the budget I'd buy a junker E-Type Jag shell, plonk in a 1jz and manual gb, LSD and drive the crap outta the car. In style.

That is why we cannot be classic owners.....hhahhahahhaha:biggrin:

 Yeah. I don't like carburetors and inconvenience.

Keywood is junker mahh..

yeah well, if I owned a running e-type I'd still do the same. The original 4L engine is a nuisance to maintain. The e-type Jag that I reviewed in Racenotrice had a modern spark system retrofitted. So I'd probably got a step further and stick in a more modern engine (comparatively speaking, I know the JZ is not a new engine).

That one not classic owner but just cheap means to play drift.....lol:rofl:

Some will keep KE70 in a worn out condition and use them for the sake of drifting. However, there are some KE70 with swapped engine but kept everything from exterior to interior in a very good condition. Those kind of KE70 look more than just a cheap junk car to play drifting.

Can weber them mah! Seen a second gen prelude (1.8L) with twin side draft weder with modded short intake manifold can match a 323i pick up......lol:rofl:

Webers are still carbs!

If I remember correctly, Putra & Satria GTI cost about RM65k in late 1990s & early 2000s. Putra auto is close to RM70k. Satria GTI spiked to RM70k region in the later years.

Edit: correction, Wira 1.8 was RM70k brand new.
