If you're a petrol head, and you love the feeling of adrenaline rush as a result of pulling your spine to the seat, then you would definitely love this. Its one of the most anticipated cars to be launched, and we are glad to say...ITS FINALLY HERE! This marks as one of the most important car to be unveiled in 2013 - the 991 Turbo & Turbo S.

Everybody knew that after the launch of the GT3, it is only a matter of time for the magicians in Stuttgart to release their turbocharged monster. And now that its finally here, prepare for the reign of firepower. Porsche has claimed a magnificent time for the Turbo S @ the Nurburgring of sub-7minutes30seconds, which will be faster than a lot of other fast things too! ~ Thats hypercar territory.

To achieve this madness, Porsche has equipped this 991 model with their signature twin-turbo 3.8litre flat-six and strapped their 4 wheel drive to maintain all four wheels on the road. Zerotohundred is dealt with in three-seconds and all the way to a top speed of 200mph. The Turbo S packs 552horsepower but if that's too much to handle, the one without the S comes with 513bhp and a lot cheaper as well.

Of course, the 'purist' will be a little unhappy that this Turbo and Turbo S variant comes in PDK only, just like the GT3 but in return, Porsche has fitted their new active four-wheel steering system. No doubt that the new car will be more efficient as well than its predecessor, with claims of 29mpg but we reckon that'll only happen with your foot, barely on the throttle.

Orders are up, and the price for the Turbo will be £118,000 and £140,000 for the Turbo S. Yes, that is a lot of money for what most people call, a beetle. But isn't this one of the best car in the world?

It has always been and will always be my favorite daily drive..
The GT3 will be kept for weekend spirited driving..
Of course by this I meant the 997.2 GT3 and not the new one..

Now we'll just have to see how Nissan will react with this. Updating the R35 GT-R or releasing a totally new one.

Nissan will react if the GTR's Nurburgring lap times is beaten by this 911. If not then they would still focus on beating the LFA lap times instead. :D

Plexi or Lexan?

Which one is better?
What thickness must it be?
How many here are using plexi or lexan?
Where did you purchase it?

I am going to put it on the AE111 for time attack.

Thanks.
