Klang, Rawang but you are in Seremban?:smokin:

And what tyre sizes you going for?
Current standard wheels are on 185/55R16 and considering changing to 205/55R16
If you really want to change to lower sport springs, it's better if you do that first before changing rims so that when choosing rims & tires you can really see the resulting clearance and how the stance looks. But if you're really undecided on the springs, then just make sure you buy rims and tires which stays within your fenders with plenty of clearance when doing full turns, and about the same total diameter with the std, so to minimize the risk later when your lower the car it won't scrape the fenders or inner sides.

Thanks for the tips.

Agree, better buy well known brands even if made in Taiwan/Philipine like Advanti, Lenso, Enkei (non Japan). Those are good value for money if you cannot afford Japan/Euro rims. Remember to buy the lightest one you can afford, don't just focus on the looks.
I'm looking considering for Enkei RPF1 and SSR type C 16" 7jj ET42 or 43, among these 2 rims which are the lighter one?? and when you mean light how light is light ??

as recommended 205/55/R16 to maintain back the diameter of the stock setup in the mean time has a wider surface on the tarmac, and I hopes this will improve when cruising above 110km/h

Both those wheels are very nice already. RPF1 should be a bit cheaper than the SSR but the SSR is a bit lighter if I'm not mistaken.
Well, light Japanese rims can be only 5-6kg or even less per wheel for 16x7' size. For your comparison, my 17x7.5 Japan rim only weigh 6.5kg, so a good 16' Japan rims would be 1kg lighter than my 17'.

You should use 205/50/16 if want to maintain the same diameter, not 205/55/16. 205/55/16 will be too big over 2cm already.

Bro. Guest is correct. From 185/55R16 the correct size is 205/50R16 and not 205/55R16. Overall diameter increased too much and over 3% rule. 3.61% to be exact.
205/50R16 is almost exact fit and with 7J, just nice....:driver:

Excellent choice for both rims & tires!

I bought my rims used from some Goodyear shop near the GY factory in Selangor, forgot the name. It's an old Prodrive rims made by Bridgestone Japan. Initially wanted to check out Ah Kit also because he has many choices.

Hahaha, I'm very bad with section code bro, I just follow GPS and only came there once just to get my rims! All I can recall is that I passed by in front of the GY factory then enter a roundabout then the shop is just on the left on the corner of that roundabout. Quite a big shop too actually, got GY signs too there.
