The new Nissan Grand Livina has received a helping hand from Impul and was unveiled at the recently concluded Super GT International Series 2011 at Sepang International Circuit by Edaran Tan Chong Motor.
Just like its predecessor, the aerokit is the first noticeable change and the new design this time around is much more aggressive and the front grille now incorporates the new Impul logo to complete the exterior makeover.
To tighten up the Grand Livina’s handling a little, an Impul suspension system has been fitted consisting of upgraded shock absorbers and springs that lower the ride height by 25mm. This results in reduced body roll and pitch which in turn contributes to better handling.
At the rear, a stainless steel exhaust muffler with a polished muffler and etched Impul logo lets the engine breathe better and gives the exhaust note some much needed motivating. Completing the exterior enhancements are a set of Impul Aura SX-10 17-inch alloy wheels. Due to the new manufacturing process by Impul, the new wheels are 20-30 per cent lighter than conventional wheels.
The Nissan Grand Livina Tuned by Impul will be offered at just RM10,700 above the price of the standard Grand Livina. The on-the-road price (inclusive of insurance, road tax, registration fee and ownership claim fee) for Peninsular Malaysia is RM97,500 for the 1.6 Manual Comfort, RM100,500 for the 1.6 Automatic Comfort and RM109,500 for the 1.8 Automatic Comfort.
Just like the standard Grand Livina, the Impul version comes with a three year or 100,000km warranty. Show units are now available for viewing at selected Nissan showrooms nationwide. Existing Grand Livina owners can purchase the Impul parts separately to fit on their cars.
