Yes, there is a honda city club called team city or something like that... Google it.

As for performance upgrades, do the basics first. Good intake and exhaust system can ease your engine's breathing and thus, slightly better performance (ard 5-10hp increase, varies from different cars). Can't go wrong by doing the basics first. :)

The basic Power mods for every car does not differ:

I - H - E

Intake , Header then Exhaust

Mild mods for I H E:
Intake : Air filter upgrade - better flow filter
Header : Cat-converter removal
Exhaust : a more free flowing exhaust

Alternatives are:
Suspension
Piggy-back ECU
strut bars ,
etc.

If warranty is a concern, suggeat go to handling set up.
Such:
1. Light weight rim
2. performance tyre
3. Suspension
4. All bars ( fender bar, antiroll bar etc )
5. Brake pad.

what is warranty? if you car can move, no mater how many complain there give alot excuse, I bought my car and found my car door cannot close fully, end up many call and trip and the end, go other workshop to slove. Give $$$$$$$.

never mind, my engine vibration high, there said is like that, end up give my friend ( workshop) to check, change exhaust v/v due to chip off. My friend said cannot go back to ask for claim because he not authorise workshop and may void warrenty due to used other workshop to attend the trouble-shoot. SO how, paid myself lo, luckly friend friend price.

what is warrenty? wait for yr car cannot move, maybe can claim.

My friend's city also got quite a number of problems when he got his car and ALL of them got solved by the service center in JB without paying a single cent.

clanbuster, tough luck.

scottyap, maybe try to go for drop-in air filter instead of open pod for the intake side. As for your extractors and exhaust system, i'm not sure whether the extractor for the new model and old is the same or not, so i not sure whether you have the option to change it or not. If there is, IMHO, 4-1 would be good for starters and change to a aftermarket S-flow muffler would be a good option as well.

oped pod air filter is only for manual or auto is ok as well..... cos my current blm using drop in...n my club members say if i were to convert my drop in to open pod.....the car will not pick up much at the beginning but later after 90 or 100....the car will start to run faster than the normal car..... as for me a new hondy city user.....any suggestion bout crank pulley or cam pulley.....struts bars or other bars....any other recommendation for better performance ...... thanks

btw is there any club for this new honda city 09....thanks....

Penang
Greetings to everyone here. I'm from Penang Yesterday I went to Kiong Lee Exhaust to ask for option and price. The boss quoted me RM1500 for the whole system including

- Downpipe (Something like what SuperCircuit using)

- deCat replace using 2 units of Bullet (1 short and 1 longer 1)

- change mid-pipe (is it neccesary?)

- s-flow muffler plus tip.

Is the price reasonable? Anyone here let Kiong Lee did the exhaust b4?

Should I choose that downpipe or use this....

Can I change all item without changing the muffler? or change to s-flow or twin loop as dun wan loadness.

Anyone change to full Hotbits exhaust system. which downpipe design they using?
I'm tempted by it but wanne see any review here.

Hope all sifu here can help me with this as i'm planning on funding for this project...hehehe

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

happy new year to all zth members,

i had my car converted to 4G91at about 3-4 months ago. the problem is the fuel consumption going quite high rm50=240km and slow pick up. some of my friend ask me to retune engine, and some ask me to reset my computer box (if im not mistaken). Pls suggest me good workshop (pj, pju or pjs area) that can tune and reset c-box with a reasonable price..thanks

cheers!
