Hi all..
need help..
currently i'm running twin turbo with single air flow meter..
yes, ONE UNIT air flow meter..
the flow ...... (air filter -> air flow meter -> T-piping to two turbos)
the rb25 af meter diameter is small..
i think the engine need more air..
i want to remove usage of air flow meter, and use map sensor..
management in use ; RB25 Apexi PowerFC

pls help,
and sorry for noob writing..

ps:
my car fired 1st ignition on 01.01.2010 after 2 years rehab.. :nurse: :driver:
now running with new heart, Rb26, but with old wiring RB25.. :stupid:

as far as i know, there is no D-jetro version of RB25 power fc (the version which doesnt use air flow sensor).
for best results, u can either use standalone ecu like haltech (get latest platinum sport 2000), or switch to RB26 engine wiring harness n get D-jetro RB26 version of power fc.

Change to new ECU?HALTECH?heee....

Temporary you can use Q45 AFM or Z32 AFM then set it in Power FC

sorry for hijack..nooby question.can i use rb25 neo power fc for rb26 engine for my gtt?

:rolleyes:If u have some kind of tuning device, there shouldn't have any problem to use a 'Y' pipes to flow a big single Air-flow sensor, just like v ultilised d PS Air-fuel enhancer for recalibrating d all around mapping perfectly from idling till high rpm range.

:rolleyes:For R34 GTT, some interfacers required to eliminate 'CHECK' light on with TCM controls.

maybe buy another afm to use 2? not too expensive...

for high hp, u can use 2 z32 afms

but for high hp, better not to use afms probably...fcon nowadays quite cheap...of course haltech is very very nice but only if u have a seriously powerful engine becoz they are expensive...u get wat u pay for

gobiz: the rb25 wiring has only 1 socket for 1 afm. no provision for another one unless he change to rb26 wiring + ecu.

thanks khoyos, didnt know that... is it usual to use rb25 wiring loom for rb26 conversions into rb25 cars?

in that case, maybe going no-afms is the way forward?

yeah i have seen similar cases before... only need to alter a few wires (injector sockets, resistor pack, some ignition wires) and the rest are similar.

but for 100% efficiency, either get OEM rb26 wiring n ecu, or u can use back ur rb25 wiring with standalone ecus...
